Derby's Uttoxeter Road / Manor Road junction.

I often see driving schools getting themselves into a mess at this busy Derby junction. It should be pretty obvious that when turning right here there are two lanes to choose from. The mistake that is commonly made is that learner drivers go straight into the right hand lane without thinking, and then find themselves in a mess in the overtaking lane in Manor Road unable to return to the left. If the left hand of the two right turn lanes is free it's much easier just to use it in the first place!
